Joy in the Mourning:

How God Meets Us In Our Sorrows and Disappointments to Not Just Survive but Thrive

——————————————

Date: Friday, April 4th  , 4 pm through Saturday, April 5th  3 pm

Location: Springbrook Bible Camp (Epping, ND)

Price: $ 75 (includes lodging, speaker, and meals. Full and partial scholarships are available)

Speaker: Holly Hovestol

Three main question Holly hopes we will find answers for in our time together:

1. How do we find joy in difficult times?

2. How can my broken heart be restored?

3. When I’ve been restored, what’s next?

Holly has been a follower of Christ since she was a young girl. She is married to Mark, who has been her husband and ministry partner for 48 years. They have two married daughters Kelly and Kayla and six grandchildren. Mark and Holly raised their family in Bemidji, MN where they lived for 30 years. During the first 10 years Holly served on staff with Youth for Christ and later served as Chaplain and Director of the Worship Program at Oak Hills Christian College. She then served as Worship Pastor at Bemidji Covenant Church. Following their time in Bemidji, Mark and Holly spent 10 years in Roseville, MN where she served as Campus Pastor of Johanna Shores, a ministry of Presbyterian Homes. Their next chapter was one they were not prepared for! The sudden death of their son-in-law Calvin brought Mark and Holly to Williston, ND. This is the chapter in which they have learned the most about Finding Joy in Mourning. Holly received Ministry Degrees from Oak Hills Christian College, Moody Bible Institute, Providence Seminary, and North Park Seminary.
