I'M NEW HERE

On The Search

It can feel intimidating to visit a new church, so we’ll do our best to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

You will be greeted and warmly welcomed. If we don't recognize you we'll probably introduce ourselves and ask your name.

In our worship service our music team will lead us in singing a variety of songs, some new and some old, but all to the praise and glory of God. The pastor will give a Bible-centered message to encourage you in your faith. Then we will sing a few more songs before we are done.

We hope you will join us at our coffee connection after the service. It’s an informal chance to chat and get to know each other over a cup of coffee, tea or cocoa.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Some people dress-up, some wear jeans and there is everything in between. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. We’re just happy to have you with us. Come as you are.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We are family oriented and try very hard to make church engaging and fulfilling for everyone. We have a nursery available (on the lower level) for children 2 and under (Nursery). All staff and volunteers have cleared a national background and criminal record check. You are welcome to use our nursery or you can also choose to have your children remain with you during our worship service.

What about my older kids?  We have an interesting and interactive ministry program for children Pre-K through 3rd grade at the same time as our adult service (LibertyKIDS). Your children are also welcome to join you in our worship service.

COMMUNION

We celebrate the ordinance of communion monthly during our worship service. All Christians who profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, regardless of church affiliation or background, are invited to join us. Our elements contain no alcohol.

PRAYER

Oftentimes, our worship service will include a time of thematically guided prayer where the congregation breaks up into groups and offers prayer around a suggested topic.  This is not a compulsory thing, and anyone who is uncomfortable can ‘sit this one out.’  We do it, however, out of the conviction that prayer is an essential aspect of our group worship. It pleases the heart of God when He sees His spiritual family come together in a unity of prayer.

We also gather once a quarter for an evening of congregational prayer.
